Job Title: Project Planner I

FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time

Pay: $51,200 – $85,300

Reports to: Peter Hughes, Director of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering)

Location: Onsite. 

KULR Technology Location: Houston 

Travel: 5% travel potential to support design reviews.

Position Overview: 

KULR ONE Platform and KULR ONE Design Solutions to produce the safest and highest quality energy storage systems on the market. The Project Planner, within the Mechanical Engineering Division, will support energy storage related developments for both internal and external engagements. This position will develop and maintain utilities for schedule and milestone tracking, high level cost and labor tracking, and action item management. The Project Planner will also support communications with customers in preparation for meetings, design reviews, and other technical interchanges.   

Functions: 

  • Work directly with Engineering leadership and Design Managers to ensure successful and timely completion of assigned projects and programs. 
  • Develop and maintain schedules in Microsoft Project for assigned projects and programs.
  • Use Microsoft Project features for tracking of schedule improvement/slippage, labor burndown, project cost (high level), and critical path.
  • Assist in project management administrative activities that pertain to SharePoint curation. 
  • Develop and maintain utilities in Excel or SharePoint for action item recording from initial assignment through completion. 
  • Aid in coordination with customer of weekly meetings, design reviews, and technical interchanges.
  • Aid in internal inter-departmental communication between the position’s assigned KULR Engineering team and other business units in the company (e.g., Operations, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing).
  • Prepare and submit weekly status reports.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or evidence of path towards achieving PMP.
  • Science, technology or math background preferred.

Office Work Environment
